We therefore recommend that you read the terms and conditions carefully before renting from us.
BOOKING BICYCLES AND ACCESSORIES
Once you have selected the bicycle and its accessories and added them to your shopping cart, you will need to fill in your personal information, such as your name, address, and the address of your summer house. After doing so, you will receive a booking confirmation via email.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT
As the renter, you are obligated to return the rented items in the same condition as you received them. Should you unexpectedly discover any defects upon receiving the rented items, please contact us immediately so that we can rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
In the event of damage during the rental period, we will, of course, assist you so that you can get back on the road quickly.
However, we can only assist if you are on a public road within our delivery area. (We are not permitted to drive on forest roads or in military areas.) This means you must be able to reach a public road by bicycle.
Please note that some rental items are equipped with tracking technology to prevent theft. This measure is a result of our commitment to providing our customers with the best possible experience, and therefore we only offer high-quality bicycles and mobility aids.
Cycling on the beach is not permitted with our bicycles.
INSURANCE
Insurance is not mandatory.
It is the renter’s responsibility to have private insurance that covers damages occurring during the rental period, including third-party liability claims, theft, etc.
Check with your insurance company.
If you do not have insurance, you are personally liable.
PAYMENT
Payment is processed through our booking system. You can conveniently pay with your debit card, VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, JCB cards, or American Express.
All prices are quoted in Danish kroner and include 25% Danish VAT.
CANCELLATION
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to two weeks before your stay.
After that, a processing fee of DKK 170.00 and a cancellation fee of 25% of your booking total will be charged.
For cancellations made 24 hours before arrival, the full amount is due.
In case of cancellation due to health reasons, proof of illness must be provided.

CANCELLATION BY THE PROVIDER
We reserve the right to cancel the booking up to 14 days prior to arrival.
CARD FEES
At blavandbike.com, we do not charge card fees.
SECURITY (Privacy)
Security at blavandbike.com is paramount, as communication between our payment system and the cardholder is secured via an encrypted SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer).
In other words, only Nets (formerly PBS) has access to your data. Neither blavandbike.com nor any other unauthorized parties have the ability to view the data exchanged during the purchase process.
At blavandbike.com, your personal contact information is 100% confidential, and we assure you that no one else will have access to your data.
To place an order with us, we need the following information from you:
Your name
The address of your vacation rental
Your telephone number – preferably mobile
Your email address
We use your personal data solely for the purpose of delivering your order directly to you.
Your personal information is stored with our parent company, BriMa-Service, and retained for 5 years. After that, your information will be deleted.
When personal data is collected through our website, we ensure that you give your full consent, so you are informed exactly what data is collected and why.
The owner and employees of blavandbike.com have access to the data you provide.

We do not store your data in encrypted form.
We do not transmit your customer data in encrypted form.
As a registered customer on blavandbike.com, you always have the right to object to your registration.

We also reserve the right to refuse bookings if quantity discounts and individual discount codes are applied simultaneously, or if a delivery address outside of Blåvandshuk (see Bike Points service area) is specified during booking.
